Echobox Benchmarks is a social monitoring and analytics tool that helps you:
- Measure the performance of your social pages’ and compare against competitors
- Discover high-performing content to inform your content creation and sharing
How do I access Echobox Benchmarks?
Benchmarks is available to all Echobox Social users by default.
You can access it from the product switching menu…
Or from the link in the page details box of any of your Facebook pages…
How do I use Benchmarks?
Benchmarks is built around the concept of boards. These are groups of Facebook pages and/or Instagram accounts whose aggregate performance and shares you want to track.
An example board will be waiting for you on your first visit to Benchmarks.
Add new boards by clicking on the ‘Add board’ button in the sidebar.
Some users create boards to monitor regional, national and global media, or for competitors in distinct topics like sports, entertainment and politics.
You can of course create a board to monitor the performance of just your own pages.
How many boards can I have?
There is no limit on the number of boards you can create, though a board can track a maximum of 20 pages.
How do I add/remove pages on my boards?
The ‘Edit board’ option allows you to add or remove pages from a board, and to permanently delete it.
What does SoV mean?
A page’s share of voice (SoV) measures engagement. Specifically, it tells you what percentage of a board’s total engagement each page achieved.
What does overperformance mean?
A share is overperforming if it is getting more engagement than we would expect given the following of the Facebook page on which it was made. This measure is relative to the size of the other pages on the board.
